Die Cut Stickers vs Sticker Sheets. Which one suits your idea best?
Both start with your artwork. The main difference is how the finished stickers are supplied. Die Cut Stickers are cut right through the backing, so each sticker is a separate piece. Sticker Sheets use kiss cuts so the stickers stay together on one A4 backing sheet.

The artwork can be the same. What changes is how the stickers are cut and supplied. Choose die cut when you want separate sticker pieces. Choose a sheet when you want the stickers to stay together on one backing.

Shape
A sticker does not have to be a square.
A die cut can follow the outside of the artwork itself. That means a frog can look like a frog, a fox can look like a fox, and a logo does not need a big square background around it.
You can still choose a simple circle, oval or rounded square. The point is that the shape can work with the artwork instead of forcing every design into the same box.

If your artwork already has a transparent background, its natural outside shape is easy to see. If it sits on a plain light background, you can remove that first to get a better idea of the finished contour.

If your PNG is already transparent, there is nothing to remove. That is usually the cleanest starting point for seeing the shape of the sticker.
If the artwork is sitting on plain white or another light background, the preview can remove that outside area so the natural shape is easier to see.

Sticker sheets
Keep several stickers together on one sheet.
Sticker sheets use kiss cuts. The stickers peel away individually, but the A4 backing sheet stays together underneath. You can repeat one design or put several different designs on the same sheet.
The sheet itself stays A4. Make the stickers smaller and more of them can fit into the same space.
Repeat the same logo across the sheet, mix several illustrations, or keep a set of labels and smaller designs together.
Start with 15 larger stickers. Make them smaller and this example moves through 20, 24, 35 and up to 48 stickers on the same A4 sheet.
It is there to show the idea rather than calculate your finished order. The artwork and size you choose determine the actual layout.
